Me Vs Me
We had a challenge this week to see if we could beat our previous scores from prior. The children seemed to really enjoy themselves and tried their absolute hardest to push themselves to the max. Well done Y4- you were going so quick my iPad struggled to keep up!
Y4 Dancing
It was lovely seeing the children's moves this morning. They definitely seemed to enjoy it also!
Diwali Drumming
What a busy two days! The children had a fantastic afternoon learning all about Diwali and getting a chance to dance and play some drums this afternoon. They all really enjoyed themselves and got stuck right in.
Me vs Me
New Walk Museum
We had a lovely educational day in Leicester exploring the Egyptian artefacts and the other exciting exhibits around the museum.
Fun fact: In Ancient Egypt, children under 10 would not wear clothes. Thank goodness we don't live back then!
A visit from Egypt
A big thank you to Lijane for popping in to talk to the children about life in Egypt and how this differed from Ancient Egypt. It was a great way to start our Ancient Egypt topic and the children loved the whole experience.
A medal winning experience!
We were super lucky to have a visit from Joe Roebuck today. Joe is an Olympic and Commonwealth swimmer who shared his amazing story of never giving up and pursuing your goals. What an inspiration he is to the children. The children loved doing their circuits with Joe and went so fast the iPad could not capture them in time! Well done everyone for your excellent behaviour and all your fundraising.
