We want to wish a very warm (virtual) welcome to Haydn Primary School, to all of our new families. This page is just for you and we hope you will find it really useful! Over the next few weeks, we will be posting lots of useful information to help you and your child feel prepared for starting their learning journey, with us, in September!
Due to the current circumstances, this year we are launching a virtual transition for children joining F2 in September. Each member of the F2 team has made a short video, introducing themselves to you and your child! Feel free to watch these as many times as you wish before September to become familiar with the team!
Below, you will also find our virtual transition videos. We hope that you will join us for these sessions as they will give your child a chance to regularly see the F2 Team and become familiar with us, as well as having some fun along the way! The first of these sessions is based around the theme of Minibeasts! It can be accessed by clicking the 'Transition session 1 - Mad about Minibeasts' star. We really hope that you enjoy it.
As you and your children engage with these sessions, we will be encouraging families to send us photos of their learning, or what they have made, with or without photos of children, so that with their permission, we can share these photographs on this webpage. This will help other children in the cohort to see one another, and begin to feel connected.
We have also included useful documents which you should have received in the post, including the ‘All about Me’ booklet and school brochure. As well as these documents, we will be uploading any additional resources which could be used to supplement the virtual sessions.
Please send any photos to email@example.com
Please let us know when emailing in photographs whether you would be happy for these to be shared on this webpage. Thank you.
We are enjoying hearing from lots of you and can’t wait to see you all soon.
