NEWSLETTER 7TH FEBRUARY 2025

‘CHEEKY TUESDAY’

We would like say a huge thank you for all of your very generous donations of cash on ‘Cheeky Tuesday’. We’ve raised an amazing £880.83 for our OPAL play scheme! We can’t wait to start our OPAL journey (starting Monday 3rd March) and we will keep you updated with the items we have purchased with your kind donations.

LOST PROPERTY

Older lost property will be on display after school Monday and Thursday next week, waiting for a new home! There are lots of school jumpers and a few coats.

There will be a table in KS2 yard on Monday 10th February and KS1 yard on Thursday 13th February so you can come along a have a look.

This older lost property will be donated after the half term break, but current lost property will remain in the green bin.

SEND COFFEE AFTERNOON – TUESDAY

The next SEND Coffee Afternoon is Tuesday 11th February 2-3pm and will be attended by our Learning Support Link Teacher, Rhea Haynes. Our coffee afternoons are an opportunity to meet with other parents as well as have a chat with Mrs Evans (SEND & Inclusion Lead) and any guests attending. They coffee afternoons are very informal and everyone is welcome. Please email senco@haydn.nottingham.sch.uk if you are planning to attend.

MATHS CHALLENGE

READING, READING, READING

Mental health week is such an important one for children as it allows us to talk about some of the issues they may well face every day, or when they grow up.

There are so many amazing books to read, but these are brilliant and touch on lots of different emotions, to reassure children that it’s alright to feel them, and that it’s completely normal.
