NEWSLETTER 9TH JANUARY 2026 LAUNCHED!
A MESSAGE FROM MS PAULSON
Dear Families, welcome back and a Happy New Year to you all. We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing break and on behalf of all of our staff, thank you for our generous gifts at Christmas. We really appreciate your kindness and generosity.
The children have had a very positive start to the new term and have come back eager and ready to learn! Thank you for your support this morning during this spell of adverse weather conditions. The children came into school calmly and have been just amazing all day! They really are a pleasure to be around and you should be very proud of them all.
We look forward to an exciting spring term ahead where children can enjoy the challenge of building on their learning and successes from last term. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend. Keep warm!

READING, READING, READING
2026 is the National Year of Reading and the nation is invited to ‘Go All In’ and discover how reading in all its forms, can unlock more of what we love. Haydn has always been committed to promote Reading for Pleasure and together, we intend to make the most of every opportunity.
Why it Matters
Reading expands minds, builds confidence and fuels creativity, so we are keen to support this campaign. The National Year of Reading 2026 will come to life through a diverse calendar of activities. Each moment is designed to bring people together, spark imagination and make reading a part of everyday life across the UK. Look out for further information…

In the meantime, here are some Winter books for younger readers - or for older children to share with younger readers. They have beautiful illustrations and are great for learning all about the seasonal changes.
