Phonics Sounds of the Week

Week commencing 24.01.22

Remember to read these as pure sounds. This will help us to blend them into words. Please keep a look out for our new sounds and tricky words of the week, in your reading diaries:

We have now started learning our phase 3 sounds! This will help us to be able to read even more words. How exciting! Please keep a look out for our new sounds and tricky words of the week, in your reading diaries:

We have now learnt all of our phase 2 (orange) sounds! Yay!

Over the next 3 weeks, we will be revisiting all of these sounds again to make sure that we can recognise and read them confidently. We will be focussing on spotting them in words and will be practising reading short sentences and writing words.
